On The Subject Of French Teenagers Eat

Michael asks…
What is the most fattening type of food american ( teenagers) eat?
So far, I have cut out every drink except water from my diet. I’m removing one food type each week in hopes of losing weight. Is it chips? Candy? French Fries? Ice cream? What should i remove next?

On The Subject Of French Language San Francisco

Sharon asks…
Where can I donate foreign-language novels in the San Francisco Bay Area?
I’m a writer with about a dozen boxes of my first and second books in French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Swedish and Polish. They’re crime novels and written/translated at the level that they’d require fluent readers, not beginners in a new language. There are too many to just dump on my local library, and I hate to just throw them all in a recycling bin. Ideas?

George asks…
French teenagers and music: how often do they listen? and other details?
I am doing a report on the French culture and teenager’s music. I already know popular songs and artists so I do not need that, but I need to know how often they listen, how it affects them, and anything else you think may be important! Please help!

English as a Second Language
The majority of English speakers coming to France are a little nervous about speaking French as a second language and one finds a similar reaction amongst French students who are learning to speak English. But some 18 to 25 years old French students are paying up to $6,000 annually to master a second language they all studied for six years in high school before earning their Baccalauréat degrees and entering the job market.
