Murray to face Simon in Madrid Final
World No. 4 Andy Murray (pictured) reached his second straight ATP Masters Series final with a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory over No. 2 Roger Federer at the Mutua Madrilena Masters Madrid.
The 21 year old won his first ATP Masters Series title in his first final in August at Cincinnati with victory over Novak Djokovic, and followed with an appearance in his maiden Grand Slam final at the US Open, where he lost out to Federer in straight sets.
In the final he will face Frenchman Gilles Simon who produced an exhilarating 3-6, 7-5, 7-6(6) victory over World No. 1 Rafael Nadal. Match Report
“He’s a very different player, he plays a long way behind the baseline, doesn´t have a whole lot of power, he has got a lot of confidence just now,” assessed Murray. “He doesn’t make many mistakes and he’s in very good shape, he’s quick around the court, has great anticipation and fights for every point which, because of his game style, he needs to. He does that very well and his results this week have proved that.”
Murray vs. Simon: Head-to-Head
On Saturday, the Dunblane native produced a fine serving display to avenge his Flushing Meadows loss to Federer, firing 14 aces and surrendering just eight points on first serve throughout the 1 hr., 56 min., encounter.
Too many errors proved costly for the Scot early on of his fifth meeting with Federer (Murray leads 3-2) and the Swiss capitalized to break serve in the sixth game and go on to close out the opening set.

Feeling Depressed?
Originally introduced into the market as sertraline, this SSRI (selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor) is a popular anti-depressant. The drug hit a bit of a row in recent history largely because new research suggests that SSRIs have little to no effect on clinical depression, despite the high rates of use among those with health insurance
The side effects alone should help you get over your depression!
Wow – those side effects!

Education in France – Introduction
French state education is well organised, well funded and with generally average to high standards in comparison to other European countries.
Since 1967, school has been obligatory for all children between the ages of 6 and 16. The school going community of about 13 million pupils is educated through a unified system, the general structure of which (schools, lower secondary schools and lycées) was gradually established in the 1960s and 1970s. Since the 1970s, France has also witnessed a salient development in pre-school education; all children aged between three and five years can attend nursery schools
The French system is complemented by a comprehensive network of private schools including international schools. Most of the private schools are supervised by the Ministry of Education and account for about 15% of pupils in primary education and 20% in secondary education, the bulk of which has remained stable in the past decade. Many schools are run by the Catholic church in partnership with the State (which pays the teachers). Private schools with no such contracts account for less than 50,000 pupils and depend on considerable financial contributions by families.

Paris Motor Show 2008
By the look of the latest crop of concept cars to be unveiled at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, automakers remain fixed on pursuing alternative fuels and smaller, lighter vehicles. We expect at least 17 new experimental vehicles will be shown to the world for the first time there.
The Paris show is Europe’s biggest auto event this year and is expected to attract more than 1 million visitors and 500 manufacturers from 30 countries. It is held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and is open to the public from October 4th until October 19th.

French Fashion
Fashion has been important industry and cultural export of France since the seventeenth century, and modern “haute couture” originated in Paris in the 1860s. Today, Paris, along with Tokyo, London, Milan, and New York City, is considered one of the world’s fashion capitals, and the city is home or headquarters to many of the premier fashion houses. Historically, many of the world’s top designers and fashion houses have been French, including Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Chloé, Hermès, Guy Laroche, Yves Saint Laurent and shoe designer Christian Louboutin. The Paris fashion houses also attract many foreign designers

Beat Headaches without Paracetamol
It’s three thirty in the morning.
First Wife is happily asleep (making the most of a night free of my snoring).
Meanwhile I’m in my dressing gown, tapping away at the computer, unable to sleep. My usual trick of reading and sipping hot milk isn’t working, so I thought I’d put the hours to good use and write about two problems that can cause serious misery in any household…
As you probably know by now, I’m loath to fill my body full of man-made drugs to get rid of pain. This only deadens the symptoms without doing a thing to tackle the root of the problem.
But now there’s a new remedy that could change the way we tackle headaches – especially aggressive sinus headaches – for good.
Next to migraines, sinus headaches really are the baddest of the bunch. They start when the network of passages that link your forehead, cheeks, nose, and eyes become inflamed. This blocks the circulation of mucus air, causing infection.
But as ever, a little digging around can reveal a whole host of natural remedies.Try Barberry (berberis vulgaris), echinacea or eucalyptus, all of which work wonders when it comes pain relief – plus they can enhance your immune system, prevent colds, and reduce sinus inflammation…
And in the four hours I’ve spent digging through the internet tonight, thefollowing natural remedies crop up time and time again as powerful headache treatments:

Dead Fish… are they healthy?
It’s horrifying to read the papers these days.
All sorts of terrible illnesses and conditions seem to be on the increase, despite the best efforts of medical technology.
It makes you wonder about the diets and lifestyle of modern man. We’ve got old evils like polio and tuberculosis under control in this country… but new ailments are on the rampage.
Especially diabetes.
According to the organisation ‘Diabetes UK’, there are 1.8 million people with it. But there’s a million more who have it… but don’t even know it! What’s more, it gets more common as you get older. The average age of diagnosis for people with no family history of the illness is 52.
There are two basic types of diabetes…
“Type 1″ develops when the body is unable to produce any insulin. Sufferers need to take insulin to control their blood sugar levels.
“Type 2″ develops when you can’t produce enough insulin, or when the insulin that is produced does not work properly. This is the diabetes which usually appears in people once they pass 40 years old.
But I’ve got some good news for you. Protection from both kinds of diabetes can come in the form of a vitamin that’s not even a real vitamin!
“Why dead fish are the answer…”
